Jamie Bogyo and Glenn Adamson will lead the cast of Stoker Wilde, a new musical exploring the lives of Bram Stoker and Oscar Wilde. The production is set for a seven-performance run at Wilton’s Music Hall in October 2026.
Stoker Wilde, a musical in development, will play at Wilton’s Music Hall from 27 to 31 October 2026, with a 7pm press performance scheduled for 28 October. Jamie Bogyo stars as Bram Stoker, while Glenn Adamson takes on the role of Oscar Wilde. The 90-minute, one-act show examines the complex relationship between the two Dublin-born writers after they relocated to London.
The production also features three-time Olivier Award winner David Bedella as Henry Irving, Christina Bennington as Florence Stoker, Jemma Geanaus as Ellen Terry, Matt Rixon as Walt Whitman, and Oliver Stockley portraying Lord Alfred ‘Bosie’ Douglas.
Set against the backdrop of late 19th-century London, Stoker Wilde explores the intertwined lives, careers, and rivalry of its titular characters. The musical draws on their literary legacies, including Stoker’s Dracula and Wilde’s The Picture of Dorian Gray.
The book and lyrics are by Eric Rosen, with music and additional lyrics composed by Rodney Bush. Direction is by Séimí Campbell, who served as associate director at the National Theatre from 2021 to 2024.
Casting for the production has been managed by Will Burton of Grindrod Burton. The musical aims to offer a fresh theatrical look at two towering figures of Victorian literature and their complicated relationship.
Stoker Wilde’s presentation as a work in progress suggests a continuing creative development process prior to any further staging decisions.
