When is Jersey Boys on in Bristol in 2026?

Jersey Boys is at the Bristol Hippodrome from Monday 6 July to Saturday 11 July 2026 as part of the 20th Anniversary UK tour, with performances spread across the week.

Where is Jersey Boys playing in Bristol?

The musical plays at the Bristol Hippodrome on St Augustine’s Parade in the city centre, a large traditional theatre with stalls and two circle levels, close to main bus routes and city parking.

What is Jersey Boys about?

Jersey Boys tells the true story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons, showing how four boys from New Jersey formed a group, created a fresh sound, climbed to fame, and faced the pressures, conflicts, and loyalties behind their chart hits and success.

Has Jersey Boys won any major awards?

Jersey Boys has won many major theatre awards worldwide, including the Tony Award for Best Musical on Broadway and the Olivier Award for Best New Musical in London, along with further honours that recognise its music, storytelling, and design.

How long does the Jersey Boys performance last in Bristol?

The performance usually runs for about two and a half hours including an interval, so allowing extra time for arriving, collecting tickets, ordering interval drinks, and travelling home will help your evening feel relaxed.

What songs will I hear in Jersey Boys?

You will hear many of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons’ biggest hits, including songs like Sherry, Big Girls Don’t Cry, Walk Like A Man, Beggin’, Can’t Take My Eyes Off You and December 1963 (Oh, What a Night), all performed live with tight harmonies.

Is Jersey Boys suitable for children?

Because Jersey Boys includes strong language and adult themes taken from the band’s real lives, it is generally more suitable for older teenagers and adults rather than younger children, so checking any age guidance before booking is sensible.

How can I get cheap Jersey Boys tickets in Bristol?

To keep ticket prices down, look at Monday to Thursday performances and matinees, compare all seating areas on the booking map, and focus on rear stalls, ends of rows, and higher-circle seats, which are often much cheaper but still offer a good overall view.

Are there any tips for good-value seats at the Bristol Hippodrome?

Good value can often be found at the ends of rows in the stalls, toward the rear of the Grand Circle, or in the central Upper Circle, where prices are lower than premium stalls but the sightlines still let you enjoy the staging and band clearly.

When is the best time to book tickets for the Bristol run?

Booking early usually gives the widest choice of cheaper seats across the theatre, but if you can be flexible with dates and seats, checking again closer to the time may reveal price drops on less popular performances or remaining seat pockets.

Are there discounts or offers available for Jersey Boys in Bristol?

There may be discounts for groups, occasional promotional offers, or benefits for theatre members, so checking group rates, watching for special promotions, and signing up to venue or show mailing lists can help you hear about deals before they sell out.

How can I keep my overall trip to Jersey Boys in Bristol affordable?

To keep costs low, use off-peak public transport where possible, compare car parks and pre-book if you plan to drive, avoid premium drink and snack packages you do not need, and plan meals in nearby streets where prices are often lower than the busiest spots right by the theatre.
