Frequently Asked Questions

When is Jersey Boys on in Southend in 2027?

Jersey Boys is at the Cliffs Pavilion in Southend-on-Sea from Tuesday 11 May to Saturday 15 May 2027, with evening performances across the week and a total runtime of about 2 hours 20 minutes including an interval.

Where is Jersey Boys playing in Southend?

The musical is playing at the Cliffs Pavilion on Station Road in Westcliff-on-Sea, a large seafront venue with stalls, balcony, and box seating, close to local bus routes, Westcliff station, and seafront parking areas.

What is Jersey Boys about?

Jersey Boys tells the true story of four working-class boys from New Jersey who became The Four Seasons, following Frankie Valli, Bob Gaudio, Tommy DeVito, and Nick Massi from street corners to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and showing how their perfect harmonies on stage contrasted with money troubles, crime, family strain, and loyalty tests off stage.

Has Jersey Boys won any major awards?

Jersey Boys has won four Tony Awards including Best Musical, the Laurence Olivier Award for Best New Musical, and a Grammy Award for Best Musical Show Album, making it one of the most acclaimed jukebox musicals of recent decades.

How long does the Jersey Boys performance last at the Cliffs Pavilion?

The Southend run lists a runtime of approximately 2 hours 20 minutes including one 15‑minute interval, so planning arrival, interval refreshments, and onward travel around a two‑and‑a‑half‑hour evening is sensible.

What songs are featured in Jersey Boys?

The show includes many of The Four Seasons’ biggest hits, such as Sherry, Big Girls Don’t Cry, Walk Like A Man, Beggin’, Can’t Take My Eyes Off You and December 1963 (Oh, What a Night), performed live with a band and layered vocal harmonies.

Is Jersey Boys suitable for children?

Jersey Boys is generally recommended for ages 12 and over, as it contains strong language and adult themes based on the band’s real lives, so it is better suited to older teenagers and adults than to young children.

How can I get cheap Jersey Boys tickets in Southend?

To find cheaper tickets, look at the lower price bands starting around the mid‑£20s, choose seats further back in the stalls or on the balcony rather than premium central stalls, and consider weekday performances where demand can be lower than on Friday and Saturday nights.

Are there discounts or offers for Jersey Boys at the Cliffs Pavilion?

Group rates are often available for this tour, and the venue sometimes participates in seasonal sales such as Black Friday promotions with savings of up to around 50% on selected shows, so checking group deals and keeping an eye on venue offers can reduce the cost.

Which seats offer the best value at the Cliffs Pavilion?

Good value is usually found in rear stalls and central balcony seats, where prices are lower than the highest bands but the capacity of around 1,600 seats still allows clear views and solid sound; side boxes and extreme side seats can be cheaper but may have angled views.

When is the best time to book tickets for the Southend dates?

Booking early gives the widest choice across the full price range, but if you are flexible on exact seats and performance night, checking less busy midweek performances can sometimes uncover remaining tickets in cheaper bands that have not yet sold out.

How can I keep my whole trip to Jersey Boys in Southend affordable?

To keep costs down, watch for changes to seafront parking charges and consider cheaper off‑seafront car parks, use off‑peak trains where possible, avoid optional premium add‑ons you do not need, and choose reasonably priced pubs or cafés a short walk from the venue instead of the most expensive seafront spots right next door.
