Paddington The Musical offers tickets to new cast dress rehearsals at Savoy

Paddington The Musical is giving audiences the chance to win tickets to watch the new cast’s final dress rehearsal at the Savoy Theatre. The prize draw supports a children’s creative charity and offers a rare behind-the-scenes glimpse of the Olivier-winning show.

Paddington The Musical, currently running at the Savoy Theatre until 13 February 2028, has launched a competition for 130 winners to attend the new cast’s final full dress rehearsal on Wednesday 28 October. Each winner will receive a pair of tickets to watch the performance from the Grand Circle.

The competition is organised by Sonia Friedman Productions, Eliza Lumley Productions, and The Institute of Imagination, a children’s creative learning charity. Tickets can be won through a prize draw on Crowdfunder, with each entry priced at £10. A free postal entry method is also available.

The draw for the tickets closes on Sunday 11 October at 9pm, with winners announced the following day under independent supervision. Proceeds from the ticket sales will support the Institute of Imagination’s work with children.

Paddington The Musical is based on Michael Bond’s A Bear Called Paddington and the popular Paddington films, with a book by Jessica Swale and lyrics by Tom Fletcher. Directed by Luke Sheppard, the show opened late last year to widespread acclaim.

The musical has won seven Olivier Awards and nine WhatsOnStage Awards, including a five-star rating from WhatsOnStage. The new cast for the show’s second year at the Savoy was announced recently alongside this competition.

This event offers theatre fans a rare opportunity to see early performances by the incoming company and contribute to a creative children’s charity in the process.
