Paranormal Activity extends West End run with Halloween late show at Ambassadors Theatre
Paranormal Activity has secured a sixth West End extension at the Ambassadors Theatre and announced a special late-night Halloween performance. The stage play, adapted from the popular horror franchise, continues to captivate London audiences alongside its ongoing Broadway season and UK tour.
Paranormal Activity will run in the West End from 4 January to 27 February 2027 following its reopening for a second season at the Ambassadors Theatre. This extension marks the sixth for the production, reflecting sustained demand for the theatrical adaptation of the horror film series.
In addition to the regular schedule, an extra late-night performance will take place on Halloween, Saturday 31 October, beginning at 10.30pm after matinee and evening shows at 2.30pm and 7pm. This special timing aligns with the show’s eerie atmosphere and target audience, recommended for those aged 15 and over due to its terrifying content.
The West End cast features Ty Fanning as James, Ami Okumura Jones as Lou, Kirsty Bushell as Etheline Cotgrave, and Pippa Winslow as Carolanne. The production is directed by Felix Barrett, founder and artistic director of Punchdrunk, with a script by Levi Holloway, known for Grey House.
Creative team members include Fly Davis on set and costume design, Chris Fisher handling illusions, Anna Watson as lighting designer, Gareth Fry on sound, and Luke Halls as video designer. The production’s casting directors are Stuart Burt and Ginny Schiller, supported by associate director Anna Marshall.
Paranormal Activity originated at Leeds Playhouse before transferring to the West End in December 2025 for its initial run through April 2026. Its successful North American tour reached major venues such as Chicago Shakespeare Theater, Center Theatre Group and Ahmanson Theatre in Los Angeles, Shakespeare Theatre Company in Washington DC, American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco, CAA Ed Mirvish Theatre in Toronto, and Emerson Colonial Theatre in Boston.
The Broadway season at the August Wilson Theatre began in August 2026 and is scheduled for 20 weeks, reflecting the production’s international appeal. The stage adaptation draws on the original 2009 Paramount Pictures film and its six sequels.
Produced by Simon Friend and Hanna Osmolska for Melting Pot, with partners including Gavin Kalin and Ken Davenport, the show combines horror with immersive theatricality, continuing to raise the profile of genre theatre in London’s West End.
