New York City Center has unveiled the complete cast for its upcoming gala presentation of Lin-Manuel Miranda and Quiara Alegría Hudes’s acclaimed musical In the Heights. The revival runs from 28 October to 15 November, featuring a notable lineup led by Matte Martinez.

The announcement confirms Matte Martinez starring as Usnavi, alongside Jaci Calderon as Nina and Ashley De La Rosa as Vanessa. Aaron James McKenzie takes on Benny, with Tony Award winner Natalie Venetia Belcon playing Claudia.

The company also includes Linedy Genao (Daniela), Ishmael Gonzalez (Sonny), Ivan Hernandez (Kevin), Cedric Leiba Jr (Piragüero), Ilia Isorelýs Paulino (Carla), and Veronica Vazquez-Jackson (Camila). An ensemble of performers rounds out the production, including Gabi Campo, Adriel Flete, Amanda K. Lopez, Kate Louissaint, and Ángel Lozada.

David Mendizábal directs this gala staging, with Alejandro Senior as music director and Mayte Natalio leading choreography. The creative team is further bolstered by Riw Rakkulchon (sets), Dede Ayite (costumes), Justin Townsend (lighting), Alex Neumann (sound), and Cynthia Cahill as production stage manager.

In the Heights, which won the Tony Award, explores a vibrant community and its stories, combining Latin musical influences with contemporary theatrical storytelling. This production at New York City Center offers a condensed gala format for the season.
