What is Priscilla Queen of the Desert about?

The story follows three friends – drag performers Tick and Adam and transgender woman Bernadette – who travel across the Australian outback in a battered old bus called Priscilla to stage the show of a lifetime and reconnect with family. What kind of music and performances can I expect?

You can expect a jukebox-style score packed with iconic 80s and 90s disco and dance anthems such as Hot Stuff, It’s Raining Men, I Will Survive, Girls Just Wanna Have Fun, and Finally, all performed live with big vocals and high-energy choreography. The Belfast production features dazzling new costumes, bold staging, and a party atmosphere that turns many songs into full-scale showstoppers.

It is mainly aimed at older teenagers and adults, so parents should consider how comfortable they are with drag performances, innuendo, and mature content before bringing younger teens.

How can I get cheap tickets for Priscilla in Belfast?

To find cheaper tickets, look at early-week and midweek performances rather than peak Friday or Saturday nights, as prices often start lower on these dates. Compare prices in different seating areas, including the upper circle or gallery and side or restricted-view seats, and try to book early because the lowest-priced ticket allocations usually sell first.

Are there discounts or special offers available for Belfast performances?

Can I get last minute tickets for Priscilla Queen of the Desert in Belfast?

Last minute tickets may be available if some performances are not sold out, and returns or extra seats are sometimes released closer to the show date.
