Where is the show performed in Llandudno?

All performances take place at Venue Cymru on The Promenade, Llandudno LL30 1BB, a major theatre and arena complex on the seafront with tiered seating and good views from most areas.

What is The Bodyguard musical about?

The Bodyguard is a romantic thriller in which former Secret Service agent Frank Farmer is hired to protect superstar Rachel Marron from an unknown stalker, and while each expects to be in charge, neither expects to fall in love as the danger draws closer.

Which songs are featured in The Bodyguard?

The show includes many Whitney Houston hits such as Queen of the Night, So Emotional, One Moment in Time, Saving All My Love, Run to You, I Have Nothing, Greatest Love of All, Million Dollar Bill, I Wanna Dance With Somebody, and I Will Always Love You, performed live with full staging.

Has The Bodyguard received any awards?

The stage musical is promoted as an award-winning smash hit, and the original London production was nominated for Laurence Olivier Awards including Best New Musical and Best Actress in a Musical, while the film soundtrack won Grammys, BRIT Awards, and other honours for I Will Always Love You and the album.

How long does the show last and are there intervals?

The touring production typically runs for around two hours and twenty minutes including an interval, which is standard for a large-scale musical and allows time for both the suspenseful plot and the full set of songs.

Is The Bodyguard suitable for children and families?

The show is generally recommended for older children and adults because it includes a stalker storyline, threat of violence, gunshots, haze effects, and some strong language, so families should check age guidance and consider whether younger or more sensitive children will be comfortable.

Do I need to know the film to enjoy the musical?

You do not need to have seen the 1992 film to enjoy the musical because it works as a stand-alone stage thriller with clear storytelling and concert-style numbers, but film fans will recognise the core plot and many of Whitney Houston’s most famous songs.

How much are tickets for The Bodyguard in Llandudno?

Ticket prices at Venue Cymru vary by performance and seat location, with cheaper options usually in higher or side sections and higher prices for central stalls and circle seats, and “from” prices are shown when you select a date and seats.

How can I get cheap tickets for the Llandudno dates?

To find cheaper tickets, look at midweek performances rather than Friday or Saturday, choose upper or side-view seats, book early before the lowest-priced central seats sell out, and sign up to Venue Cymru and major ticket-seller mailing lists for presales, offers, and discount codes.

Are there discounts, access schemes, or group rates available?

Venue Cymru offers group booking discounts for parties of 10 or more and takes part in the Hynt access card scheme for eligible patrons and companions, so it is worth contacting the box office about group savings, access tickets, and any concessions on your preferred dates.
