Frequently Asked Questions

When is Jersey Boys on in Birmingham in 2026?

Jersey Boys is at The Alexandra Theatre in Birmingham from Monday 9 November to Saturday 21 November 2026, with performances across both weeks as part of the 20th Anniversary UK and Ireland tour.

Where is Jersey Boys playing in Birmingham?

The musical is playing at The Alexandra on Suffolk Street Queensway in central Birmingham, a large city-centre theatre close to New Street station, tram and bus links, and several nearby car parks and places to eat and drink.

What is Jersey Boys about?

Jersey Boys tells the true story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons, following four blue-collar boys from New Jersey as they form a band, create a fresh sound, rise to fame, and deal with the friendships, conflicts, debts, and sacrifices behind their chart-topping success.

Has Jersey Boys won any major awards?

Jersey Boys has won four Tony Awards including Best Musical, the Laurence Olivier Award for Best New Musical, and the Grammy Award for Best Musical Show Album, underlining its success with both audiences and critics worldwide.

How long does the Jersey Boys performance last in Birmingham?

The show usually runs for around two and a half hours including an interval, so planning your journey, interval drinks, and any post-show plans around this running time will help your theatre visit feel relaxed.

What songs are featured in Jersey Boys?

The musical includes many of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons’ biggest hits, such as Sherry, Big Girls Don’t Cry, Walk Like A Man, Beggin’, Can’t Take My Eyes Off You and December 1963 (Oh, What a Night), performed live with a band and tight vocal harmonies.

Is Jersey Boys suitable for children?

Because Jersey Boys includes strong language and adult themes taken from the band’s real lives, it is generally recommended for older teenagers and adults, so parents should consider the content carefully before bringing younger children.

How can I get cheap Jersey Boys tickets in Birmingham?

To find cheaper tickets, look at weekday performances and any matinees, compare all price bands on the seating map, and focus on upper-circle, rear stalls, or side seats, which are often much cheaper than premium central stalls but still give a good overall view.

Are there discounts or offers for Jersey Boys at The Alexandra?

There can be group discounts, concessions for certain age groups, and occasional special offers, so checking group booking options, signing up for venue or ticketing newsletters, and watching for limited-time promotions can help reduce what you pay.

Which seats offer the best value for money at The Alexandra Theatre?

Good value is often found a few rows back in the stalls, toward the rear of the Dress Circle, or slightly off-centre blocks, where prices are lower than premium seats but the sightlines still let you enjoy the cast, band, and staging clearly.

When is the best time to book tickets for the Birmingham dates?

Booking early usually gives the widest choice of cheaper seats and preferred performance dates, but if you are flexible on when and where you sit, checking closer to the time may reveal remaining pockets of seats or adjusted prices on quieter shows.

How can I keep my whole trip to Jersey Boys in Birmingham affordable?

To keep costs down, use advance or off-peak train, tram, or bus tickets where possible, compare and pre-book car parks if you are driving, avoid optional premium add-ons you do not need, and choose reasonably priced cafés or restaurants a short walk away from the busiest streets right by the theatre.
