Go Live Theatre announces fundraisers with Patricia Hodge and James Graham
Go Live Theatre has unveiled two fundraising events this spring featuring leading theatre artists, including Patricia Hodge, Rosalyn Wilder, James Graham and Suzie Miller. The occasions celebrate the history and positive impact of the performing arts while supporting arts access for young people.
Go Live Theatre’s fundraising series opens on Monday 9 March 2026 with West End Memories: Rosalyn Wilder in conversation with Patricia Hodge. Taking place at the Hippodrome Casino, the evening will spotlight Wilder’s career at the Talk of the Town and the London cabaret scene’s golden age. The event will also include a rare, never-before-fully-broadcast recording of Judy Garland performing at the venue in 1968.
Later in the month, on Monday 23 March 2026, Art Cure: An Evening with Daisy Fancourt in Conversation with James Graham and Suzie Miller will be hosted at The Other Palace. The event will feature scientist and author Daisy Fancourt discussing how engagement with the arts supports mental and physical health, referencing research from her book Art Cure. Playwrights James Graham and Suzie Miller will join the conversation to explore the arts’ role in building stronger communities.
Fancourt described her involvement as “a huge pleasure” and looks forward to sharing “cutting-edge science about how the arts impact our mind, brain, body and behaviour” in a “rich and hopefully provocative discussion.” Both fundraisers aim to raise money for Go Live Theatre’s work enabling children and young people to access live theatre.
Since its founding in 1997, Go Live Theatre has helped over 290,000 young people experience theatre through subsidised tickets, workshops, and education programmes. The organisation’s fundraising events highlight the broad cultural and social value of the performing arts, while continuing to support its mission in arts inclusion.
These events notably blend archival recollections and contemporary research, showing how the performing arts both reflect and shape wellbeing and community life. Details on ticket sales and further programme specifics are yet to be confirmed.
