WhatsOnStage Award-winner Layton Williams will join the Broadway production of Titanique, the Céline Dion song parody of Titanic, opening at the St. James Theatre in March. The show features a blend of returning and debuting talent, including Melissa Barrera making her Broadway debut.

Layton Williams, fresh from his Olivier Award-winning performance as the Iceberg in Titanique’s West End run, will continue the role for the Broadway production. The musical is set for a 16-week season at the St. James Theatre beginning on 26 March, coinciding with its West End tenure.

In the Heights star Melissa Barrera will make her Broadway debut in Titanique as Rose, while John Riddle returns as Cal, a role that earned him a Lucille Lortel Award nomination. The cast also includes Jim Parsons as Ruth Dewitt Bukater and Deborah Cox as the Unsinkable Molly Brown.

Titanique co-creator and original Jack Dawson, Constantine Rousouli, reprises his role, alongside Franke Grande returning as Victor Garber. Marla Mindelle, who originated the role of Céline Dion off-Broadway, will also return for the New York production.

The musical premiered off-Broadway at the Asylum Theatre in June 2022 before transferring to the Daryl Roth Theatre in November that year. It garnered Lucille Lortel and Off-Broadway Alliance awards for Best New Musical and concluded its off-Broadway run earlier this year.

Broadway’s creative team will be led by director Tye Blue alongside choreographer Ellenore Scott and music supervisor Nicholas James Connell. Scenic design is by Gabriel Hainer Evansohn and Grace Lauchbacher, with costumes by Alejo Vietti and lighting by Paige Seber.

Titanique’s Broadway run is currently scheduled to close on 12 July 2026, offering a comedic take on the Titanic story through Céline Dion’s iconic music, continuing to draw audiences with its unique blend of parody and heartfelt performances.
