Rosamund Pike’s Inter Alia to transfer to Broadway at Music Box Theatre
The National Theatre’s acclaimed production Inter Alia, starring Rosamund Pike, will transfer to Broadway later this year, marking Pike’s Broadway debut. The limited engagement at the Music Box Theatre offers a timely exploration of justice and family life.
Inter Alia will begin performances at the Music Box Theatre on 10 November 2026, with an official opening night scheduled for 1 December. The run is planned to continue until 21 February 2027.
Rosamund Pike will reprise her role as Crown Court judge Jessica Parks. This transfer represents Pike’s first appearance on Broadway, following her acclaimed performances in the UK.
The play, written by Suzie Miller and directed by Justin Martin, premiered at the National Theatre’s Lyttelton Theatre in 2025. It then transferred to the West End and is currently running at Wyndham’s Theatre until 20 June 2026.
Inter Alia, which has also been broadcast internationally through National Theatre Live, centres on the complex balance between a judge’s professional duties and her role as a mother. Themes include justice, family dynamics, and modern masculinity.
The production reunites Miller and Martin after their collaboration on Prima Facie. This year, Inter Alia received nominations for Best New Play at both the WhatsOnStage and Olivier Awards, with Pike nominated for Best Actress.
Pike recently won the Critics’ Circle Theatre Award for Best Actress for her performance in the London production of Inter Alia. The Broadway transfer is a co-production between the National Theatre, Wagner Johnson Productions, No Guarantees Productions, and P3 Productions.
Additional casting details for the Broadway engagement have yet to be announced. The transfer continues the growing presence of contemporary British plays on the New York stage.
