RepresentAsian returns to Lyric Theatre for fundraiser showcasing Asian talent

RepresentAsian: An Evening of Asian Talent, a fundraising concert supporting Asian performers, will return to London’s Lyric Theatre on 9 November 2026. Featuring West End stars and rising artists, the event aims to raise funds for a scholarship with The Boury Academy.

RepresentAsian will return to the West End for a one-night concert at the Lyric Theatre on 9 November 2026. The fundraiser, titled RepresentAsian: An Evening of Asian Talent, will feature performances by Christine Allado, Hiba Elchikhe, Mia Kobayashi, and Zheng Xi Yong, with Nina Wadia hosting. Additional cast members are yet to be announced.

Produced by Aixa Amarante Productions, the concert seeks to support Asian performers and those entering the industry by raising funds for a scholarship with The Boury Academy. This event marks the eighth iteration of the RepresentAsian series, which previously debuted in the West End last year.

Ben Armstrong and Aixa Amarante highlighted the importance of inclusive, diverse storytelling and the continued showcase of outstanding talent from the Asian diaspora. Armstrong serves as founder and casting director for the event.

The creative team includes musical director, arranger and orchestrator Amy Hsu, designer Tom Mann of Ghostlight Productions, and Alex Kais from House of Kais as head of brands and partnerships. Tickets start at £25 and went on sale at midday today.

Nimax is presenting the event, continuing its support for diverse theatre initiatives in the West End. The concert arrives at a moment when opportunities for underrepresented talent remain a significant concern within the performing arts sector.

By combining established West End performers with emerging artists, RepresentAsian illustrates the growing platform for Asian representation on London stages, reflecting ongoing industry conversations about diversity and inclusion.
