The enduring West End hit Mamma Mia! has announced a fresh company for its ongoing UK tour, with performances set across multiple cities from August 2026. The musical’s new cast breathes life into ABBA’s classic score as it continues to draw large audiences.

Mamma Mia!, one of the longest-running musicals in West End history, is launching a new touring company beginning at King’s Theatre Glasgow from 13 to 29 August 2026. The show will then proceed to visit SSE Arena Belfast, Sheffield Lyceum, Nottingham Royal Concert Hall, Milton Keynes Theatre, Wolverhampton Grand, Alhambra Theatre Bradford, Wales Millennium Centre Cardiff, Liverpool Empire, and Plymouth Theatre Royal, concluding the run in January 2027.

Produced by Judy Craymer, Richard East, and Björn Ulvaeus for Littlestar in association with Universal, Mamma Mia! features the timeless hits of ABBA, penned by Benny Andersson and Ulvaeus, with a story by Catherine Johnson. The production enjoys creative leadership from director Phyllida Lloyd, choreographer Anthony Van Laast, and designer Mark Thompson, alongside Howard Harrison’s lighting design, sound by Andrew Bruce and Bobby Aitken, and musical supervision by Martin Koch.

The new cast includes Lauren Woolf as Rosie, Richard Taylor Woods playing Sam Carmichael, Simon Victor as Bill Austin, and Arvid Larsen in the role of Harry Bright. Hazel Baldwin stars as Sophie Sheridan, Samuel George Downey as Sky, Rachel Seirian as Ali, and Lex Richardson as Lisa. Ashton Sharp appears as Pepper, with Albert Green as Eddie.

Returning cast members reprising their roles include Jenn Griffin as Donna Sheridan, Ashleigh Jones as the alternate Donna, and Sarah Earnshaw as Tanya. Richard Vorster continues as Father Alexander, supported by ensemble performers including Brook Blackford-Jenkins, James Brice, and Aled Davies.

Since its 1999 premiere, Mamma Mia! has become a global phenomenon with over 70 million attendees worldwide and grossed more than £4.5 billion at the box office. It has also been adapted into two successful films, further embedding the musical in popular culture.

The tour reinforces Mamma Mia!’s ongoing appeal as an enduring favourite across UK theatres, showcasing a blend of veteran performers and emerging talent delivering ABBA’s celebrated catalogue to new audiences.
