Beetlejuice West End announces new final performance date for January 2027

The West End production of Beetlejuice has updated its closing date, moving from an initially planned run through spring to a final performance in early January 2027. The show remains a notable London staging of the Tim Burton-inspired musical.

Beetlejuice, playing at the Prince Edward Theatre, will now conclude on 2 January 2027. The production officially opened in London after runs on Broadway and a North American tour.

The musical is based on the 1988 Tim Burton film and features music and lyrics by Eddie Perfect, with a book by Scott Brown and Anthony King. Alex Timbers directs the West End version.

The cast is led by David Fynn in the title role, supported by Tom Xander as alternate Beetlejuice. Hannah Nordberg plays Lydia Deetz, with Daisy Harrison as her alternate.

David Hunter and Chelsea Halfpenny portray Adam and Barbara Maitland, while Alasdair Harvey appears as Charles Deetz. Summer Strallen takes on the role of Delia until early November before Aimie Atkinson returns.

Supporting roles include Chasity Crisp as Maxine Dean/Juno, Richard Frame as Otho, Irvine Iqbal as Maxie Dean, Rachel Macdougall as Girl Scout, and Vanessa Aurora Sierra as Miss Argentina. The wider company features a large ensemble supporting the main cast.

Ticket holders for any performances beyond the newly set final date will be contacted by their point of purchase regarding refunds or exchanges. The production’s adjusted closing date reflects a shift from its originally announced spring run.
