Blood Brothers extends UK tour dates through to February 2027
The longstanding Blood Brothers musical has confirmed new tour dates running until early 2027, cementing the show’s continued presence on the UK stage. This expansion highlights the enduring appeal of Willy Russell’s tragic tale of separated twins.
Blood Brothers, the musical telling the story of twins separated at birth and raised on different sides of the tracks, has added dates to its tour schedule through until February 2027. The production features memorable numbers including “A Bright New Day”, “Marilyn Monroe” and “Tell Me It’s Not True”.
The show is directed by Bob Tomson and the late Bill Kenwright, with resident director Tim Churchill overseeing the ongoing tour. The creative team also includes musical supervisor Matt Malone, sound designer Dan Samson, set and costume designer Andy Walmsley, and lighting designer Nick Richings.
Blood Brothers has maintained a steady touring presence, attracting audiences with its blend of social commentary and poignant storytelling. Its expansion into 2027 follows the current autumn tour cast’s performances, supported by photography from Jack Merriman.
This latest round of dates underscores the musical’s status as a staple of UK theatre, continuing to engage audiences with its themes of class division and fate. The production’s steady touring schedule suggests it remains a reliable title on the regional theatre scene.
Details of individual venues and ticket availability for the new tour dates are expected to be confirmed in due course.
