Bradley Jaden to make Broadway debut in Texas-set musical Wanted
West End actor Bradley Jaden is set to make his Broadway debut this autumn in the new musical Wanted, which previews from 15 October at the James Earl Jones Theatre. The production explores family, survival and freedom against an 1893 Texas backdrop.
Bradley Jaden joins the cast of Wanted as Jesse, appearing alongside Solea Pfeiffer as Mary Clarke, Liisi LaFontaine as Martha Clarke, Luke James as Elijah and Ledisi as Tallulah Clarke. The musical begins previews on 15 October with an official opening night scheduled for 8 November.
Set in Texas in 1893, Wanted follows twin sisters Mary and Martha Clarke as they escape threats intent on stopping their family from claiming its inheritance. The story is inspired by the real history of the Clarke family and delves into themes of sisterhood, survival and freedom.
The musical features a book and lyrics by Angelica Chéri and music by Ross Baum. Direction is by Stevie Walker-Webb with choreography by Chelsey Arce. Further casting and the full creative team remain to be announced.
Wanted was first staged in 2020 at Signature Theatre in Arlington, Virginia, and had a production at Paper Mill Playhouse in New Jersey in 2024. A five-track Wanted: The Studio EP featuring Pfeiffer, LaFontaine and the studio cast is already available on streaming platforms.
The move to Broadway represents a significant milestone for Jaden, a regular performer on the West End. It also highlights the musical’s progression from regional US stages to the New York market.
As the initial US productions have demonstrated growing momentum, Wanted’s arrival on Broadway will offer a larger audience the chance to engage with its historical narrative and musical storytelling.
