Cast announced for Les Misérables 2026 arena shows and Royal Albert Hall dates

The Cameron Mackintosh production Les Misérables will return to UK and Ireland arenas in 2026, featuring new casting for its Arena Concert Spectacular. The announcement marks the continuation of the show’s 40th anniversary celebrations after a record-breaking world tour.

Les Misérables Arena Concert Spectacular will tour the UK and Ireland in 2026, with performances scheduled at Dublin’s 3Arena from 29 May to 6 June. The arena production, developed from Les Misérables: The Staged Concert, follows a global tour that began in Belfast in 2024 and has sold more than a million tickets across 30 cities in 25 countries.

The cast for the Dublin dates includes Killian Donnelly and Gerónimo Rauch alternating as Jean Valjean. Bradley Jaden and Jeremy Secomb will portray Javert on different performance dates. Matt Lucas will play Thénardier except on 30 and 31 May, when Luke Kempner takes over the role.

Marina Prior will perform as Madame Thénardier until 1 June, with Helen Walsh stepping in from 3 June onward. Katie Hall is cast as Fantine, Jac Yarrow plays Marius, Shan Ako takes the role of Éponine, and Beatrice Penny-Touré appears as Cosette. Christian Mark Gibbs will play Enjolras.

This arena production serves as a major milestone in celebrating the enduring appeal of Les Misérables, which remains in continuous performance at London’s Sondheim Theatre. The staging is notable for combining concert elements with theatrical storytelling on a large scale.

Following the arena tour, the production is set to travel to New York in 2026. Further details on venues and dates for the UK and international stops are to be confirmed.

The continued global interest in Les Misérables underscores its status as a significant musical theatre phenomenon, maintaining large-scale audiences more than four decades after its debut.
