Full cast confirmed for Million Dollar Quartet London transfer from Barn Theatre
The Barn Theatre’s acclaimed production of Million Dollar Quartet will transfer to London, with the entire company reprising their roles. The musical recounts the legendary 1956 Sun Records session featuring Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Carl Perkins.
The full London transfer cast has been confirmed for Million Dollar Quartet following its extended run at the Barn Theatre in Cirencester. Connor Payne returns as Elvis Presley, joined by Christopher Erasmus as Johnny Cash, Joe Bence as Jerry Lee Lewis, and Joey Bradick as Carl Perkins. Darren Day reprises his role as record producer Sam Phillips.
Additional cast members include Jenay Naima as Dyanne, Geraint Downing as Brother Jay, and Josh Haberfield as W S “Fluke” Holland. This ensemble faithfully recreates the entire Barn company’s performance for the London stage.
Set on 4 December 1956, the musical depicts the impromptu recording session at Sun Records in Memphis. The score features iconic songs such as “Blue Suede Shoes,” “Fever,” “Walk the Line,” and “Hound Dog.”
Jonathan O’Boyle directs the production, with choreography by Joanna Goodwin. Libby Watson is responsible for set and costume design, while lighting design is by Alex Musgrave, sound design by Nick Lodge, and musical supervision by Lee Freeman. The casting director’s name has not been disclosed.
The London engagement continues the Barn Theatre’s Built By Barn initiative, which has previously included productions like I’m Sorry Prime Minister and I Can’t Quite Remember. The initiative also supports the forthcoming UK tour of The King’s Speech.
Iwan Lewis, CEO and artistic director of the Barn Theatre, expressed pride in bringing the company to London, noting the significance of maintaining continuity with the original artists: “This company has blown away audiences at the Barn. Now it’s London’s turn.”
Million Dollar Quartet, with a book by Colin Escott and Floyd Mutrux, premiered on Broadway in 2010 and made its West End debut at the Noël Coward Theatre in 2011. It subsequently toured the UK in 2016 and 2017.
The new London run will take place at The Arts at Marble Arch: powered by TodayTix from 4 September to 6 December 2026, with a press night scheduled for 15 September.
