Full West End cast revealed for Love Never Dies concert at London Palladium

The complete West End cast for the upcoming concert production of Love Never Dies has been announced, marking a major event in the 40th anniversary celebrations of The Phantom of the Opera. The concert will run at the London Palladium from 16 to 18 October.

Love Never Dies, the sequel to The Phantom of the Opera, will be staged in concert form at the London Palladium this autumn. Set a decade after the Phantom’s disappearance from Paris, the story follows the Phantom in New York as he attempts to lure Christine and her family into his world once more.

Jamie Muscato and Celinde Schoenmaker will reprise their roles as the Phantom and Christine, with George Blagden returning as Raoul. Courtney Stapleton plays Meg, and Mazz Murray is cast as Giry. The newly announced cast members include Holly James from Moulin Rouge! as Fleck, Nic Greenshields from Les Misérables as Squelch, and Charles Brunton from Matilda The Musical as Gangle.

The wider cast also features Leslie Garcia Bowman (Hamilton), Georgia Joan Clements (A Knight’s Tale), Sally Frith (Evita), Christian Knight (Hamilton), Louis Mackrodt (Evita), Gleanne Purcell-Brown (The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry), Hollie Jane Stephens (The Producers), and Tommy Wade-Smith (Mean Girls).

The production is directed by Shaun Kerrison, with choreography by Joanna Goodwin. Design contributions come from Rebecca Brower (set and costume), Tim Deiling (lighting), and Paul Gatehouse (sound). Simon Lee supervises the music, while Sarah Jane Price Casting leads casting efforts.

Produced by Darren Bell alongside Cuffe & Taylor for Live Nation, the concert follows the earlier WhatsonStage Award-winning concert staging at Theatre Royal Drury Lane. The production will run from 16 to 18 October at the London Palladium.

Additional members of the creative and management teams include costume supervisor Jennie Quirk, props supervisor Katie Balmforth, associate sound designer Charlie Smith, orchestra manager Nicola Rossiter, production manager Pete Kramer, and general manager Sam Quested for QUBE Theatricals.

The Love Never Dies concert forms part of the 40th anniversary celebrations of The Phantom of the Opera, which continues its long-standing run at His Majesty’s Theatre in London. More anniversary plans are expected to be announced in due course. Since its 1986 opening, The Phantom of the Opera has been seen by over 160 million people worldwide.
