The full cast has been announced for The Picture of Dorian Gray – A New Musical, set to tour the UK from October 2026 to April 2027. Kevin Kennedy will feature as Mr Issacs alongside Christopher Twyford in the lead role.

The Picture of Dorian Gray – A New Musical, written by Mark J Middlemiss, will embark on a UK tour starting at Darlington Hippodrome on 19 October 2026. The production follows the story of Dorian Gray, with Christopher Twyford cast in the title role and Charlotte Castle as Sibyl Vane.

Kevin Kennedy will appear as Mr Issacs in the production, joining a cast that includes Kingsley Judd as Lord Henry Wotton, a character inspired by Oscar Wilde. George McKinley takes on the role of artist Basil Hallward.

Additional cast members include Keegan Featherstone as Jim Vane and Louise Grayson as Lady Agatha, who previously appeared on the show’s original concept album. The ensemble will consist of Marie McNaugher, Sam Kingsley, Charley Robbie, Meg Luscombe, and Alistair Fitton.

The tour will visit several venues across the UK, including theatres in Halifax, Hunstanton, Weymouth, Gravesend, Lowestoft, Kettering, Runcorn, Blackpool, Swansea, Stockport, Newcastle, Wakefield, Aberdeen, Perth, Arbroath, and New Brighton.

This musical adaptation continues the long-standing cultural fascination with Oscar Wilde’s novel, transforming its enduring themes into a new theatrical experience.
