Paranormal Activity casts Ty Fanning and Ami Okumura Jones for West End return
Paranormal Activity has revealed its new West End cast ahead of the show’s reopening at the Ambassadors Theatre in August 2026. The production brings fresh leads to the stage adaptation of the cult horror film series, maintaining its status as a chilling theatrical experience.
Paranormal Activity will reopen at London’s Ambassadors Theatre from 8 August 2026, running through 7 November 2026, with Ty Fanning making his West End debut as James and Ami Okumura Jones cast as Lou. The story follows the couple moving from Chicago to London, only to face lingering supernatural disturbances.
The stage show adapts the original films written and directed by Oren Peli, produced by Blumhouse and Solana Films, and is directed by Felix Barrett, founder and artistic director of the immersive theatre company Punchdrunk. The creative team also includes Fly Davis on set and costume design, Chris Fisher as illusions director, and Anna Watson handling lighting design.
Returning to familiar roles are Kirsty Bushell as Etheline Cotgrave and Pippa Winslow as Carolanne, reprising her part from previous runs. Sound design is led by Gareth Fry, with video design by Luke Halls. Casting direction is managed by Stuart Burt and Ginny Schiller, while Anna Marshall serves as associate director.
Levi Holloway, known for writing the stage thriller Grey House, is also part of the creative background, reflecting the production’s filmic and theatrical thriller lineage. The show continues to expand its footprint, with plans to open on Broadway later this year and tour the UK and Ireland this autumn.
With its blend of supernatural horror and immersive stagecraft, Paranormal Activity remains a notable example of film-to-stage adaptation in London theatre’s current landscape. The upcoming West End run offers a fresh cast and creative input while maintaining the play’s core unsettling atmosphere.
