Bill Bailey to return to Theatre Royal Haymarket for Vaudevillean residency

Bill Bailey is set to play a seven-week residency at London’s Theatre Royal Haymarket with his new show Bill Bailey: Vaudevillean. The residency, running from December 2026 to February 2027, follows his previous London engagement and UK arena tour.

Bill Bailey will bring Bill Bailey: Vaudevillean to the Theatre Royal Haymarket for a seven-week run running from 16 December 2026 to 6 February 2027. The show marks his return to the venue after earlier performances in 2024 and 2025 with Thoughtifier.

The residency is presented by Phil McIntyre Live Ltd and will feature a show inspired by the vaudeville tradition. Bailey’s new production combines comedy, music, and speciality performance, weaving stories from showbusiness and city life into the mix alongside musical pieces.

Bailey, known as a comedian, musician and actor, has gained a broad audience through his television work, including appearances on Black Books and Never Mind the Buzzcocks. His live shows are known for their combination of stand-up comedy and musical performance.

He has toured extensively both across the UK and internationally, building a reputation for blending musicality with comedy. In 2020, Bailey further raised his public profile by winning Strictly Come Dancing with professional partner Oti Mabuse.

This residency follows the conclusion of Bailey’s UK arena tour later this year, offering audiences an opportunity to see his latest work in an intimate West End setting.

Bill Bailey: Vaudevillean continues a long tradition of the comedian’s live collaborations that celebrate variety and musical comedy, reflecting his broad talents across performance mediums.
