Ralph Fiennes and Miranda Raison lead Grace Pervades West End cast

Ralph Fiennes and Miranda Raison reprise their roles in David Hare’s Grace Pervades as it transfers to the West End’s Theatre Royal Haymarket. The production, directed by Jeremy Herrin, runs from April to July 2026.

Grace Pervades, which premiered at Theatre Royal Bath last summer as part of the Ralph Fiennes / Theatre Royal Bath Season, is set for a West End transfer. Ralph Fiennes and Miranda Raison return as Victorian stage icons Henry Irving and Ellen Terry, respectively.

The play by David Hare explores the careers of Irving and Terry alongside those of Terry’s children, Edith Craig and Edward Gordon Craig. Ruby Ashbourne Serkis and Jordan Metcalfe reprise their 2025 roles as the siblings.

The wider cast features Youness Bouzinab, Giulia Innocenti, Tom Kanji, Harriet Leitch, Guy Paul, Chris Porter, Maggie Service, Saskia Strallen, Kathryn Wilder, with Katherine Liley and Sam Perry also appearing.

The production is directed by Jeremy Herrin, with a creative team that includes Bob Crowley on set design, Fotini Dimou handling costume design, and Peter Mumford as lighting designer. Elizabeth Purnell is responsible for sound design, Akhila Krishnan oversees video design, and Susanna Peretz manages wigs, hair, and make-up.

Composer Paul Englishby provides the score, while Lucy Cullingford directs movement, contributing to the show’s detailed Victorian atmosphere.

Grace Pervades is presented in the West End by Theatre Royal Bath Productions in collaboration with Leonard Blavatnik, Danny Cohen for Access Entertainment, and Second Half Productions.

The transfer illustrates ongoing collaboration between major theatrical institutions and creatives, cementing Grace Pervades as a significant addition to next year’s West End season.
