Alice Fearn to Mark 10 Years as Elphaba with Special Concert at The Other Palace
Alice Fearn will return to The Other Palace Studio on 13 July for a one-night concert celebrating a decade since she first played Elphaba in Wicked. The concert promises a retrospective of Fearn’s theatre career, featuring material from several of her notable roles.
Alice Fearn’s concert, Taking Flight (Alice Fearn Live), will showcase highlights from her stage work over the past ten years. The event coincides with the tenth anniversary of her casting as Elphaba in the West End production of Wicked, which she first joined in 2015.
Fearn eventually took over the role of Elphaba full time at the Apollo Victoria Theatre, bringing significant experience to this iconic part. The upcoming concert will include music connected to Wicked as well as other shows in which she has appeared, such as Come From Away and Dear Evan Hansen.
Her theatre credits also extend to Les Misérables, Shrek the Musical, and American Idiot. In addition to her West End roles, Fearn performed as Beverley Bass in the filmed adaptation of Come From Away, reflecting her continued association with that production.
The concert reunites Fearn with director Kirk Jameson, a frequent collaborator on her projects, ensuring a shared creative vision. Musical direction will be provided by Nick Barstow, who also produced Fearn’s debut album, adding a familiar musical partnership to the event.
Tickets for the concert are available now via The Other Palace website, offering fans an opportunity to see Fearn revisit highlights from her career. This special live event emerges as a reflection on Fearn’s decade-long presence on the London stage since her breakthrough as Elphaba.
