Paranormal Activity extends West End run at Ambassadors Theatre

The stage adaptation of Paranormal Activity has extended its West End run, returning to the Ambassadors Theatre with a new booking period. The production’s continuation underlines its sustained popularity and critical interest.

Paranormal Activity, based on the film series created by Oren Peli and produced by Blumhouse and Solana Films, centres on James and Lou, a couple who relocate from Chicago to London seeking a fresh start but remain haunted by unexplained events.

Directed by Felix Barrett, founder and artistic director of Punchdrunk, the production showcases a creative team including Fly Davis (set and costume design), Chris Fisher (illusions director), Anna Watson (lighting designer), Gareth Fry (sound designer), and Luke Halls (video design). Associate director Anna Marshall supports the direction, while casting is led by Stuart Burt and Ginny Schiller.

The show will return to the Ambassadors Theatre from 8 August 2026, with the new booking period running from 5 October to 7 November 2026. Tickets for these performances are currently available.

Paranormal Activity’s theatrical incarnation follows on from the success of Levi Holloway’s previous stage thriller Grey House, highlighting his continued engagement with suspenseful narratives.

Beyond the West End, the production is slated for a Broadway opening later this year and will also tour the UK and Ireland this autumn, signalling a significant presence across multiple major markets.

The extension and planned expansions underscore a growing appetite for immersive and atmospheric theatre experiences rooted in popular horror stories, reflecting broader trends in genre-led productions on stage.
