New cast announced for Six UK and China tour launching July 2026
The ongoing UK tour of the hit musical Six will introduce a new ensemble from July 2026, before continuing with a 12-week residency in China. The casting update includes fresh leads and retains the show’s all-female band, amid a wider UK and Ireland touring schedule.
Six will reopen at Bromley’s Churchill Theatre on 15 July 2026 with a new principal cast, running in the UK until 26 September before heading to China for a three-month tour that concludes on 20 December. The new line-up features Madison Swan as Catherine of Aragon and Izi Maxwell as Anne Boleyn, with Laura Dawkes, Hannah Victoria, Lizzie Emery and Eloise Lord completing the six wives’ roles.
Supporting the leads are alternates Lorren Santo-Quinn, Rosie Singha and Erin Summerhayes, as well as super swings Selen Berry and Darcy Stewart. The production remains accompanied by the all-female band the Ladies in Waiting, led by musical director Yutong Zhang.
Written by Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss, Six reimagines Henry VIII’s wives as pop icons sharing their stories in a concert-style format. The show continues to run in London’s West End at the Vaudeville Theatre and on Broadway at the Lena Horne Theatre, with international productions active across several continents.
The musical won Tony Awards for Best Original Score and Best Costume Design in 2022, among multiple WhatsOnStage Awards including Best West End Show. The original studio album achieved platinum certification in 2026, and the live Broadway recording received a Grammy nomination.
The 2026 tour’s creative leadership includes co-directors Lucy Moss and Jamie Armitage, choreographer Carrie-Anne Ingrouille, set designer Emma Bailey, and costume designer Gabriella Slade. The creative team also features lighting designer Tim Deiling, sound designer Paul Gatehouse, orchestrator Tom Curran, and musical supervisor Joe Beighton.
The UK leg of the tour will also play High Wycombe’s Swan Theatre, Salford’s Lowry, Tunbridge Wells Assembly Hall Theatre, Sheffield Lyceum and Edinburgh Festival Theatre. The wider 2026/27 UK and Ireland tour will visit over 20 additional venues including Glasgow, Dublin, Belfast and Brighton, with further dates and casting to be confirmed.
Six is produced by Kenny Wax, Wendy and Andy Barnes, and George Stiles, continuing its status as one of the most successful contemporary British musicals with a design and cast renewal for its expanding international footprint.
