Paranormal Activity UK and Ireland tour casts James Bye and Hannah Sinclair Robinson
Paranormal Activity has announced the full casting for its first UK and Ireland tour, featuring James Bye and Hannah Sinclair Robinson in lead roles. The stage adaptation of the hit film series will visit multiple venues from September 2026 into mid-2027, ahead of its second West End season and Broadway debut.
The stage production of Paranormal Activity, based on the original film series by Oren Peli and produced by Blumhouse and Solana Films, tells the story of James and Lou moving from Chicago to London to escape their past, only to be haunted by unexplained phenomena. The UK and Ireland tour begins at Richmond Theatre on 5 September 2026 and spans over 30 venues, including key stops in Glasgow, Leeds, and Dublin.
James Bye, known for his television roles, will play James, while Hannah Sinclair Robinson, previously seen in The Play That Goes Wrong, takes on the role of Lou. Jo Castleton, who appeared in War Horse, will perform as Etheline Cotgrave, and Caroline Faber of Network is cast as Carolanne. Full casting details are yet to be disclosed.
The production is directed by Felix Barrett, founder and artistic director of Punchdrunk, with a script by Levi Holloway, writer of the stage thriller Grey House. The creative team also includes Fly Davis on set and costume design, Chris Fisher handling illusions, Anna Watson as lighting designer, Gareth Fry on sound, and Luke Halls as video designer. Ginny Schiller is the casting director.
This tour follows the show’s North American run and Leeds performances, with Paranormal Activity returning for a second West End season from 8 August. The show is preparing for a Broadway presentation as well. A critic hailed the adaptation as “a hauntingly good stage adaptation” in a recent review.
Produced by Simon Friend and Hanna Osmolska for Melting Pot in association with several other producers including Gavin Kalin and Ken Davenport, Paranormal Activity is available for booking at selected venues. Ticket sales have already begun for the upcoming tour dates.
The scale and ambition of the tour reflect ongoing interest in adapting popular horror films for stage, blending immersive theatre techniques with traditional storytelling. Paranormal Activity’s mix of suspense and innovative stagecraft continues to attract audiences across the UK and Ireland.
