Myra DuBois joins West End cast of Titanique at Criterion Theatre
Myra DuBois will join the West End production of Titanique at the Criterion Theatre this September, taking on the role of Ruth for six weeks. The casting update arrives amid an extended booking period and a recent run extension for one of the show’s lead performers.
Myra DuBois is set to play Ruth in Titanique at London’s Criterion Theatre from 1 September to 11 October 2026. The show, currently booked through January 2027, follows DuBois joining the company after a nationwide history and a significant presence on the New York stage.
Titanique, written by Tye Blue, Marla Mindelle and Constantine Rousouli, premiered Off-Broadway in 2022 before transferring to the Daryl Roth Theatre later that year. It enjoyed a New York run through June 2025 and has also been staged in Paris, Sydney, Montreal and Toronto.
William Hanson’s run in the show has been extended to 26 July, prior to the return of original West End cast member Stephen Guarino from 28 July to 30 August. DuBois succeeds them in the role of Ruth for a six-week spell.
DuBois described the part as “the role of a lifetime” and expressed excitement about joining the production after attending a performance earlier this year. Further casting for Ruth after 11 October is yet to be announced.
The current West End cast features Lewis Francis as The Iceberg, Rose Galbraith as Rose, Astrid Harris as Céline Dion, Freddie King as Jack, Cameron Vear as Cal, Michael Vinsen as Victor Garber/Luigi, and Nikki Wheeldon as Molly Brown. The on-stage ensemble also includes AJ Lewis, Joi Lurrie and Corrine Priest as background vocalists.
Titanique made its Broadway debut at the St James Theatre in March 2026, where it received four Tony Award nominations, including Best Musical. The production is directed by Tye Blue, with choreography by Ellenore Scott.
Its creative team features Nicholas James Connell as music supervisor, arranger and orchestrator, scenic design by Gabriel Hainer Evansohn and Grace Lauchbacher for Iron Bloom Creative Production, costume design by Alejo Vietti, lighting design by Paige Seber and sound design by Lawrence Schober. Casting is led by Pearson Casting CDG and Richard Johnston, with the London production produced by Eva Price and Michael Harrison.
