Full cast revealed for Florian Zeller’s The Truth at Apollo Theatre

The complete cast for Florian Zeller’s The Truth has been announced for its West End run at the Apollo Theatre starting June 2026. This production brings together an accomplished ensemble led by Stephen Mangan, running a limited season through September.

The Truth, translated by Christopher Hampton and directed by Lindsay Posner, will begin performances at the Apollo Theatre on 9 June 2026. The full cast includes Adam Morris and Roisin Rae joining previously announced Stephen Mangan, Ardal O’Hanlon, Sarah Hadland and Janie Dee.

The play centres on Michel, who embarks on an affair with his best friend’s wife while grappling with the notion that honesty might not always be the best policy. The production’s press night is scheduled for 24 June, with performances concluding on 12 September after a 14-week run.

Florian Zeller’s work is best known for plays like The Father and The Son, with The Truth having previously been nominated for an Olivier Award in a prior London production. This iteration is produced by Melting Pot alongside Simon Friend and Hanna Osmolska, in association with Gavin Kalin Productions and Fiery Dragons.

Design contributions come from Lizzie Clachan on set and costumes, Richard Howell on lighting, and Adam Cork providing sound design. The creative team also features Rosie Tricks as assistant director, Joanna Coe overseeing costume supervision, Lily Mollgaard managing props, and Martyn Sands as production manager.

The announcement signals a significant West End event, presenting a contemporary play that explores complex moral themes with an experienced cast and creative team. The production is poised to engage audiences with Zeller’s characteristic blend of psychological insight and theatrical craft.
