The High School Musical revival has announced its full cast for the upcoming UK productions. The show will premiere at the Lowry in Salford this summer before transferring to Wembley next autumn, marking the first UK non-replica staging of the musical.

The ensemble is completed by a large company including Alexander Black, Eleanor Bye, and several others.
The production features a book by David Simpatico and music adapted, arranged and produced by Bryan Louiselle. Audiences can expect classic songs such as “Breaking Free”, “We’re All In This Together”, “Get’cha Head in the Game” and “Stick to the Status Quo”.
Co-directed by Joseph Houston and William Whelton, the creative team also comprises choreographer Aaron Renfree, set designer Andrew Exeter, sound designer Matt Peploe, and video designer George Reeve. The production boasts a comprehensive team across lighting, costume, musical supervision, casting, wigs, make-up, dialect coaching, and production management.
High School Musical is based on the Disney Channel Original Movie and first debuted on stage in 2006 at Stagedoor Manor. It enjoyed a professional run starting in Atlanta with a US national tour in 2007 and had its London premiere at the Hammersmith Apollo in 2008.
This new UK revival marks a significant development as the first non-replica production in the country, demonstrating the musical’s enduring appeal and ongoing global reach.
