Full Evita album from Jamie Lloyd’s London Palladium production confirmed for 2026

The complete live album of Evita recorded at the London Palladium in July 2025 will be released in August 2026 on triple vinyl and digitally. The release follows the show’s acclaimed West End run and includes a new single “Rainbow Tour” now available online.

Jamie Lloyd’s Evita, with music by Andrew Lloyd Webber and lyrics by Tim Rice, played a sold-out season at the London Palladium in summer 2025. The production won multiple awards including two Oliviers, two London Standard Theatre Awards, and five WhatsOnStage Awards. It also saw a highly successful release of “Don’t Cry For Me Argentina” on 7-inch vinyl reaching number one on the Official Vinyl Chart.

The full album, recorded live at the Palladium, will feature Rachel Zegler as Eva Perón, Diego Andres Rodriguez as Che, James Olivas as Juan Perón, Aaron Lee Lambert as Agustín Magaldi, and Bella Brown as The Mistress, supported by the London company. The album will be issued via The Other Songs label.

Pre-orders for the album are now open ahead of the August 2026 release date. The triple vinyl and digital package offers the entire score spread across three discs, including classic tracks like “Oh What a Circus,” “On This Night of a Thousand Stars,” and “Don’t Cry For Me Argentina,” alongside newer additions such as “Rainbow Tour,” which was released today as a single.

The London production was produced by Michael Harrison for Lloyd Webber Harrison Musicals and Jamie Lloyd for The Jamie Lloyd Company. It is slated to transfer to Broadway in spring 2027, continuing its successful trajectory.

The release of this comprehensive live recording marks a significant moment, preserving the acclaimed staging and performances from a production that has been pivotal in reimagining this classic musical for a contemporary audience.
