Twelve Angry Men UK tour announced with Gray O’Brien and Bill Ward cast
Bill Kenwright Ltd has revealed a new UK tour of Reginald Rose’s classic courtroom drama Twelve Angry Men, starring Gray O’Brien, Bill Ward and Ricky Norwood. The production opens at Theatre Royal Windsor in September 2026.
A fresh staging of Twelve Angry Men will tour the UK from September 3 to November 28, 2026, launching at Theatre Royal Windsor. The cast features Gray O’Brien, Bill Ward, Ricky Norwood, Tristan Gemmill and Ben Nealon in leading roles.
The play focuses on a jury debating the fate of a young man accused of murdering his father. What seems to be a straightforward case gradually reveals deeply personal biases and preconceptions among the jurors.
Additional company members include Paul Beech, Graham Elwell, Jeffrey Harmer, Mark Heenehan, Kenneth Jay, Paul Lavers, Owen Oldroyd and Micquel Pereira. Christopher Haydon directs with Tim Welton as associate director.
Design is led by Michael Pavelka, with lighting by Chris Davey and sound by Andy Graham. The production is presented by Bill Kenwright Ltd, known for reviving classic plays on tour.
David Gilbery, CEO of the Bill Kenwright Group, described Twelve Angry Men as “one of the greatest courtroom dramas ever written” and praised it as “a true masterclass in suspense and storytelling”.
Following Windsor, the tour will travel to venues including The Alexandra in Birmingham, Grand Opera House in York, New Theatre Cardiff, Theatre Royal Brighton and Richmond Theatre, among others.
The tour concludes at New Wimbledon Theatre on November 28, presenting another opportunity for UK audiences to engage with this seminal mid-20th-century drama on prejudice and justice.
