Layton Williams is set to mark two decades since his professional debut with Layton Live, a UK tour reflecting on his diverse career. The show will visit over 20 venues across the country before finishing at London’s Adelphi Theatre in April 2027.

Olivier Award-winning actor and singer Layton Williams will embark on a solo concert-style tour titled Layton Live, running from 23 February to 4 April 2027. The production will combine music, dance, and storytelling to revisit Williams’ career highlights across stage and screen.

The tour will begin at the Corn Exchange in Newbury and includes stops at major regional venues such as the Manchester Opera House, King’s Theatre Edinburgh, Pavilion Theatre Glasgow, Birmingham Town Hall, Oxford Playhouse, and the Crucible in Sheffield. It concludes with a performance at the Adelphi Theatre in London.

Layton Live will feature songs and personal stories inspired by Williams’ roles in productions including Billy Elliot, Hairspray, Everybody’s Talking About Jamie, Cabaret, and Titanique. The show also draws on his television appearances in Bad Education and Strictly Come Dancing.

Prior to launching the tour, Williams will appear as King Herod in Jesus Christ Superstar at The London Palladium and Theatre Royal Drury Lane, reaffirming his strong presence in high-profile musical theatre.

Tickets for the tour went on pre-sale on 10 August, with general booking opening on 11 August, offering audiences a chance to secure seats well in advance of the 2027 dates.

Williams’ solo tour arrives as he celebrates 20 years in the profession, a milestone that highlights his evolution from a standout young talent into a versatile performer across theatre and television.

Layton Live follows a growing trend of stage artists creating personal show formats that blend concert performances with autobiographical storytelling, providing a unique glimpse into their artistic journeys.
