Sadie Sink and Noah Jupe take on the iconic roles of the starcrossed lovers in the new West End revival of Romeo and Juliet, which opens tonight, 16 March, at the Harold Pinter Theatre. The production marks the return of director Robert Icke to Shakespeare, following his acclaimed work on Player Kings with Ian McKellen and Hamlet starring Andrew Scott.

The cast features Jamie Ankrah as Peter, Dylan Corbett-Bader as Benvolio, and Eden Epstein as Lady Capulet, with Alex Felton playing Abraham. Clark Gregg appears as Capulet, while the ensemble includes Ada Grey. Kasper Hilton-Hille doubles as Friar John and Mercutio, supported by Aruna Jalloh as Tybalt.

This production adds to Robert Icke’s growing reputation for innovative Shakespearean revivals, following his impactful collaborations with leading actors in London theatre. The revival of Romeo and Juliet continues this trajectory by assembling a diverse cast to explore the classic play.

Performances begin in the heart of London’s theatre district, offering audiences the chance to experience a fresh interpretation of the enduring tragedy. The production’s precise run length and ticket details have yet to be confirmed.
