West End stars Bethany Antonia and Jaime Winstone join Strictly Come Dancing 2026 cast

The 2026 line-up for Strictly Come Dancing includes notable West End performers such as Bethany Antonia and Jaime Winstone, reflecting the show’s enduring connection to theatre talent. The new series is set to begin this autumn with a revamped hosting team.

Strictly Come Dancing has confirmed that several stage actors will compete in the 2026 series, which is due to start this autumn. Among the announced contestants is Bethany Antonia, currently playing Eurydice in the London production of Hadestown. She is also known for her television role in House of the Dragon.

EastEnders actress Jaime Winstone, who appeared as Jenny in the play 2:22 A Ghost Story on the West End, is also part of this year’s contestant roster. Additionally, Dani Dyer, who withdrew from last year’s competition due to injury and has stage credits including Nativity! The Musical, will make a return to the show.

Johannes Radebe, a former professional dancer turned West End performer, will return in a hosting capacity for the series. The 2026 line-up continues Strictly’s tradition of featuring theatre-trained performers alongside celebrities from television and other entertainment sectors.

Last year’s competition showcased the success of musical theatre stars on the show, such as WhatsOnStage Award winner Amber Davies, who reached the final. This echoes the paths of other stage performers including WhatsOnStage and Olivier Award winner Layton Williams, currently playing a Tony Award-nominated role in Titanique on Broadway.

More contestants will be announced in the coming weeks, adding to the mix of actors, presenters and dancers making up the new season’s full cast. This year’s Strictly Come Dancing seems set to continue its blend of theatrical talent and mainstream appeal.
