Acting for Others announces new West End Flea Market date and Golden Bucket Awards line-up

Acting for Others has revealed new details for its key 2026 fundraising events, including a postponement of the West End Flea Market and the programme for the Golden Bucket Awards. These events continue to support theatre charities through engaging West End community initiatives.

The West End Flea Market, organised by the theatrical charity Acting for Others, will now take place on Saturday 25 July 2026 instead of the originally planned 16 May. The event will be held at St Paul’s Church, Covent Garden, running from 10am to 2pm.

This market returns for its sixth edition following a record-breaking fundraising total of £110,000 in 2025. Attendees can expect a variety of themed stalls hosted by leading West End productions, each showcasing theatrical memorabilia, signed items, and opportunities for selfies and autographs.

Each stall is meticulously curated to reflect its respective show, offering themed merchandise and limited-edition collectables. The event will also feature the Best Dressed Stall competition, judged by a panel of West End performers, with the winner announced live on the day.

Tickets will be available early bird from April, with general admission priced at £5 on the day. Further details about the participating shows, judges, and stars are anticipated but yet to be confirmed.

In addition, Acting for Others will hold its 2026 Golden Bucket Awards on Tuesday 21 April at the Prince of Wales Theatre. The ceremony celebrates supporters and fundraisers from the year’s bucket collections and other initiatives.

The awards event will be hosted by Carl Mullaney and feature presenters including Alice Fearn, Raj Ghatak, Kim Ismay, Su Pollard, and Ben Stock. A special performance will be given by Sooz Kempner.

The charity also confirmed the return of the Big West End Walk, scheduled for Sunday 6 September. This 16-mile route visits 58 West End theatres and involves performers and supporters raising funds for Acting for Others’ theatrical charity work.
