Edward Easton to lead One Man Musical at Soho Theatre and Edinburgh Fringe
One Man Musical, created by musical comedy duo Flo and Joan, will return to Soho Theatre this summer with Edward Easton taking over the title role from George Fouracres. The production will then transfer to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe later in August.
One Man Musical will run at Soho Theatre from 17 June to 3 July with evening performances at 9pm. Following this, it will appear at Pleasance Beyond during the Edinburgh Festival Fringe from 5 to 30 August. The show centres on a musical theatre performer who decides to tell his own story, hinted to be Andrew Lloyd Webber.
Edward Easton takes over as the titular character from George Fouracres, known for his appearances on SNL UK and previous runs of the show in both Edinburgh and London. The production features live music from the creators, Flo and Joan.
The musical originally premiered at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2024 before touring to the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, Soho Theatre, and Underbelly Boulevard. It has garnered several awards, including Best Production at the 2026 Offies, as well as recognition at the Chortle Awards, Melbourne International Comedy Festival Awards, and Stage Debut Awards.
The show is presented by Avalon and directed by Georgie Staight, whose previous theatre credits include Operation Mincemeat, Dawn French Is A Huge Tw*t, and The Wizard of Oz.
