Burlesque the Musical casts three Alis for London and UK tour in 2026

Burlesque the Musical has announced Natalie Jacques, Gracie O’Brien and Cecilia Petrush will share the lead role of Ali during its UK run and tour in 2026. The casting highlights the show’s ongoing expansion following previous successful engagements across the UK.

Burlesque the Musical, based on the 2010 film starring Christina Aguilera and Cher, focuses on the character Ali, who moves to New York searching for her mother and becomes involved in an underground club scene. The film was written and directed by Steven Antin, who also serves as a producer on the musical.

Natalie Jacques will take on the role of Ali in the London production, which will run at the new Marble Arch venue from September 2026 through January 2027. Gracie O’Brien will perform as Ali during the UK tour, while Cecilia Petrush, who was selected through a global talent search, will be the alternate.

The London shows are scheduled for Tuesday to Saturday evenings, with matinees on Saturdays and Sundays. Cassidy Janson is confirmed to star as Tess in the London production. The musical features songs by artists including Aguilera, Sia, Diane Warren, Jess Folley and Todrick Hall.

This upcoming run follows previous performances of Burlesque the Musical in Manchester, Glasgow and a sold-out limited season at the Savoy Theatre, indicating sustained interest in the show. Further cast members and the full creative team have yet to be announced.

Executive producers alongside Aguilera include Adam Paulden, Jason Haigh-Ellery, Steven Antin, Clint Culpepper and In Fine Company. The production’s continued UK presence marks its integration into the country’s commercial theatre landscape.

The concurrent UK tour will open at the New Victoria Theatre in Woking, with details covered separately. The dual London production and touring effort reflect a growing trend for multi-venue musical runs.
