Final cast revealed for Burlesque the Musical UK tour starring Faye Brookes

The full cast and creative team for the first UK tour of Burlesque the Musical have been announced, with Faye Brookes leading as Tess Richarde. The production will launch at the New Victoria Theatre in Woking in July 2026 before visiting 24 venues across the UK.

Burlesque the Musical, inspired by the 2010 film written and directed by Steven Antin, is set to commence its UK tour at the New Victoria Theatre in Woking on 25 July 2026. The story follows Ali Rose, played by Gracie O’Brien, as she journeys to New York seeking her mother, Tess Richarde, the burlesque lounge owner portrayed by Faye Brookes on stage, a role Cher originally played in the film.

Joining Brookes and O’Brien are Ryan Carter as Sean and Ms Loretta, Davide Fienauri as Vince, Tyler Davis as Jackson, and Vanessa Ela Young as Nikki. The ensemble includes Macy Dermody Blythe, Freya Baddeley, Kizzi Pink Simpson, Leah Pugh, Keith Alexander, Owen Stringer, Darnell Mathew-James, Chardonnay, and Cecilia Petrush. Supporting roles and swings are filled by Callum Rose, Emma Lloyd, Emily Fitton, Rhys West, and Alexander O’Reilly.

The score features songs from well-known artists such as Christina Aguilera, Sia, Diane Warren, Jess Folley, Todrick Hall, and Steven Antin. Antin also serves as the production’s writer and creative director, with Racky Plews directing and choreography by Robin Antin and Aaron Renfree, assisted by associate choreographer Xena Gusthart.

The production benefits from a comprehensive creative team, including Tom Curran as orchestrator and arranger, Adam Langston as musical supervisor, Rob Wicks as musical director, and Sara Perks handling set design. The design team also includes lighting designer Joshie Harriette, costume designer Marco Marco, and sound designer Ben Harrison, among others.

Production management is led by Toby P Darvill with associate production manager Lewis Moore, while the general manager role is held by Kiki Stevenson for Hartshorn Hook Productions. Producers include Christina Aguilera, Adam Paulden, Jason Haigh-Ellery, Steven Antin, Clint Culpepper, and In Fine Company.

In a parallel development, a separate London production of Burlesque the Musical starring Cassidy Janson as Tess is due to open at The Arts at Marble Arch later this year, with further casting yet to be disclosed.
