Additional casting confirmed for Into the Woods West End transfer at Noël Coward

The Bridge Theatre’s acclaimed revival of Into the Woods, directed by Jordan Fein, has confirmed further casting for its West End transfer. The musical, which secured two Olivier Awards, will open at the Noël Coward Theatre this autumn.

The award-winning revival of Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine’s Into the Woods will transfer to the West End, with performances at the Noël Coward Theatre starting on 22 September and running until 9 January 2027. The official opening night is set for 7 October.

Joining Kate Fleetwood, who will reprise her role as the Witch, are returning cast members Valda Aviks as Grandmother/Giant, Geoffrey Aymer as Cinderella’s Father, Jo Foster as Jack, Jennifer Hepburn as Cinderella’s Stepmother and Alternate Witch, Hana Ichijo as Lucinda, Julie Jupp as Jack’s Mother, Gabrielle Lewis-Dodson as Florinda, and Gracie McGonigal as Little Red Riding Hood.

Jacob Fowler and Sophie Linder-Lee will also return as standbys. Further casting announcements are expected at a later date.

The production was the most nominated musical revival at this year’s Olivier Awards, receiving 11 nods and winning Best Musical Revival and Best Lighting. The Bridge Theatre production is directed by Jordan Fein, with Tom Scutt serving as set and costume designer, and Aideen Malone as lighting designer.

The creative team also includes musical supervisor Mark Aspinall, orchestrator Jonathan Tunick, sound designer Adam Fisher, video designer Roland Horvath, movement director Jenny Ogilvie, and a team responsible for wigs, hair, make-up, and puppetry. Associate director Georgia Green and musical director Alex Beetschen are also on board.

Presented in the West End by Jamie Wilson Productions, Kevin McCollum and New Ventures Entertainment, the transfer continues the collaboration between the Bridge Theatre and the wider West End production community.
