Heathers the Musical announces UK tours and London return for 2026 and 2027

Heathers the Musical has revealed its full touring schedule for 2026 and 2027 alongside plans for a new London season, marking the first show to open the Arts at Marble Arch. Fans can now look ahead to a sustained run following extensive previous West End and UK tours.

Heathers the Musical, based on the 1989 cult film starring Winona Ryder and Christian Slater, has announced additional tour dates spanning two years as well as a forthcoming London season. The musical will launch its new run at the Arts at Marble Arch before embarking on a nationwide tour throughout 2026 and resuming in 2027.

The musical originally premiered in Los Angeles in 2013, written by Kevin Murphy and Laurence O’Keefe, before moving to New York’s New World Stages in 2014. A revised London version debuted in 2018, incorporating new material now featured in the current New York production.

Heathers has enjoyed three West End runs and three UK and Ireland tours to date. The show won Best New Musical at the WhatsOnStage Awards in 2019 and was filmed for streaming on the Roku Channel in 2022. The creative team includes director Andy Fickman, choreographer Gary Lloyd, designer David Shields, lighting designer Ben Cracknell, sound designer Dan Samson, and musical supervisors Jeremy Wootton and Will Joy.

The 2026 tour dates cover a range of cities from Windsor in late August through to Oxford in late November, with stops in Leeds, Nottingham, Coventry, and Dublin among others. The 2027 tour begins in mid-February in Hull and continues to Liverpool, York, Birmingham, and several Scottish cities including Edinburgh, Glasgow, and Aberdeen, before concluding in Torquay in early May.

Tickets for select dates of the tours are currently on sale. Detailed information about the London run at the Arts at Marble Arch has been made available separately.

The announcement underlines the enduring popularity of Heathers, which continues to attract audiences with its darkly comic take on teen drama and its cult film origins, cementing its presence in UK theatre beyond its initial West End successes.
